Students under 18 must provide their name and age. If you already have an established library account, you are entitled to one hour of computer use with an automatic renewal of a second hour. Guests and children under 13 may only have one hour of computer use a day.

Free internet access & WiFi

Our free, public WiFi is titled “Charlotte-Library” and can be accessed through the connections setting on your device. When you begin connecting to the WiFi, a secondary page will open asking you to accept our terms and conditions—be sure to do so or the connection will fail. Visit our Information desk for more assistance connecting to our WiFi.

Photocopier & fax machine

Our photocopy machine can create black & white and color copies as well as send faxes and scan documents to an email address. Black & white copying is self-serve, but color, scanning, and faxes must be done with staff assistance. Black & white copies/scanned documents are $0.10 per page while color copies are $0.50 per page. Faxes are $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each page after. For more information, call us at 517-543-8859 or visit the Circulation desk.
