Library Closed April 27 – May 8
A more welcoming face on our entry space
The Charlotte Community Library will be updating its 20+ years old entryway and restrooms in the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience as we put a more welcoming face on our entry space.
During the initial stages of renovation, from April 16 – April 26, the library will remain open but there will be no public restrooms available for use. The building will be completely closed to the public from April 27 – May 8 in order to finish the project.
During the entire undertaking, the outside drop-box will continue to be available as usual. In addition, the library staff will be available to answer your questions by phone.
While you await our new look, we encourage you to use the library’s digital resources via OverDrive and Hoopla. OverDrive offers eBooks and digital audiobooks; Hoopla allows you to download and stream music, movies, TV shows, comics, eBooks and audiobooks.

These digital services are available 24/7 and there is no cost to you as the user. The only requirements are a valid Charlotte Community Library card, the OverDrive or Hoopla app, and an internet connection. If you don’t already have a valid library card, be sure to visit the library and sign up for one before the construction begins.
