The library has available the following resources for in-library use.

* Local newspapers, including the Charlotte Republican-Tribune and Charlotte Shopping Guide, on microfilm and in-print dating back to the late 1800’s.
* A variety of local history books and materials.
* Local cemetery records.
* Charlotte High School yearbooks dating back to the early 1900’s.
* City directories dating back to the 1900’s.


Local obituaries compiled from the Charlotte Shopping Guide are available at the library. We have recently begun digitizing some obituaries. Links to these obituaries are provided below.
